Burlington Neighbourhood Guide: Where to Live in Burlington, Ontario

Burlington isn't one market. It's a collection of very different neighbourhoods. A lakeside condo downtown, a post-war bungalow near the botanical gardens, and a new townhome by the 407 each come with a different lifestyle, commute and price. Picking the right pocket is often worth more than picking the right house.

These guides are my street-level take on where to live in Burlington: what each area feels like, what homes you'll find, what locals love, and what to watch out for before you buy. Start with the quick matcher below, then dive into the neighbourhoods that fit.

How I Help Burlington Buyers and Sellers

  • Street-level pricing: recent sales for the exact pocket you're considering, not city-wide averages.
  • Honest trade-offs: traffic, train noise, development plans and school boundaries, before you commit.
  • A plan that fits your life: whether that's upsizing, downsizing, a first home or pre-construction. See my buyer guide and seller guide.

Thinking about Burlington? Let's talk before you tour.

Prices, days on market and the "good streets vs. busy streets" story change month to month. Get my free Burlington Price Snapshot — recent sales, what's active right now, and what buyers are actually paying — straight from someone who works these streets.
